Seeking Solace Yoga Studio

Beginner & Intermediate Yoga
This class is tailored for beginner’s but also suited for intermediate level yogis. No previous yoga experience is necessary. The focus is on alignment, sequencing, organic movement, stretch and flexibility. The pace is moderate to slow, sometimes holding asanas (postures) for several breaths, building endurance, and bringing physical and spiritual strength together.

Strength & Stretch Yoga
This class is a full-body workout designed to strengthen, lengthen, and energize. Starting from the feet and moving up to the crown of your head, we work on engaging and stretching your major muscle groups. Breathing exercises are incorporated to help increase lung capacity, while special techniques target tension in the face and jaw, as well as strengthen the eyes. Modifications using chairs or blocks make this class accessible for those with limited mobility. No matter your starting point, you’ll leave this class feeling empowered and energized.

Thursday “Lunch Break” Yoga
Is Thursday the “new Friday”?  Colleen Boveri teaches this 45-minute mixed-level class every Thursday at noon. It will recharge you to face the end of the week, or to get ready for an active weekend. This will be a combination of stretching, strengthening, and relaxation. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Restorative & Therapeutic Yoga
In our fast-paced lives, this class offers a rare opportunity to slow down and truly relax. In Restorative Yoga, less is more. We focus on fewer postures, but each one is held with the support of props that create comfort and stability, allowing your breath to deepen and your muscles to release tension. This gentle approach helps calm your mind and body, leaving you feeling deeply refreshed and restored.

Vinyasa Flow

This is a 90-minute flowing Vinyasa class with an emphasis on holding, aligning, and breathing in the postures, and include pranayama and meditation. While some styles of yoga are more restful or slow-moving, in Vinyasa yoga there is a continuous flow from one pose into the next. The transitions between poses are just as important as the poses themselves.
