Seeking Solace Yoga is a cooperative studio in Overland Park Kansas, dedicated to authentic practice, mindful movement, and a compassionate community.
We believe that is not about perfection — it’s about presence. Every class, every breath, and every moment here is an invitation to return to yourself just as you are.
Founded by Colleen Boveri, a teacher with more than 30 years of experience, Seeking Solace Yoga grew from one woman’s healing journey into a collective of teachers dedicated to helping others find balance and peace.
After an auto accident led her to yoga for relief, Colleen discovered a lifelong practice that transformed not only her body but her way of being in the world. Today, her vision continues through a community of instructors who share that same spirit of compassion, learning, and care.
Seeking Solace has since become a refuge for those looking to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover balance — a hidden jewel where all are welcomed to heal, rejuvenate, and recharge.
What makes Seeking Solace Yoga unique is our cooperative model. Each instructor is an independent teacher offering their own style, schedule, and approach — yet all share the same mission: to make mindful movement and meditation accessible to everyone.
From gentle yoga and restorative practices to meditation, tai chi, and sound experiences, our teachers bring decades of combined experience, uniting traditional wisdom with modern mindfulness.
Here, you’ll find classes that meet you exactly where you are — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Our studio features serene, naturally lit group rooms and private spaces ideal for yoga, meditation, and healing arts. Every detail — from our mats and oils to our linens and lighting — is chosen with care to create a clean, nurturing environment that supports restoration.
We honor every person who walks through our doors — every story, every ability, every beginning.
Whether you come seeking strength, calm, or connection, you’ll find a place to grow in your own way and at your own pace.
Come find your place to pause, move, and rediscover yourself.
Seeking Solace Yoga isn’t just a place to practice — it’s a place to share your practice.
Our cooperative model makes the studio available to qualified instructors and facilitators who want to offer weekly classes, specialty workshops, or private events in a warm, welcoming environment.
We provide a serene space designed for movement, meditation, and mindful gatherings. Whether you’re an established teacher expanding your reach or a practitioner ready to lead your first class, our studio offers flexibility, community, and support.
